Girls!
The new favorite show is Girls on HBO. I knew this would be freakin’ unbelievable after watching Lena Dunham’s Tiny Furniture a few weeks ago. Lena’s a great talent and the cast kills me. “The TV show or the movie?” You’d know that line if you watched the premiere. It came up twice. It was good see Chris Eigeman make an appearance as Lena’s internship boss. He’s been in those classic Whit Stillman films Metropolitan, Barcelona and Last Days of Disco. And Noah Baumbach’s legendary Kicking and Screaming. I think those writer/directors are high on Lena’s list and it shows in her work. And shit I love that.
